Diamond Painting

grace3859

I thought diamond painting would be messy and take a long time to complete. It might take a while, depending on the size of your project. I found it very relaxing and easy to do. I purchased a package of 4 diamond painting cards at Michael's. They were at 40% off. I could not resist the cute bulldog. I am going to frame it for one of my granddaughters.

The first photo shows you the color codes.

The kits usually come with a tray, diamond tool, and wax. I purchased the long black pencil-like, wax stick at Temu. I spent $1.25 for the frame at the Dollar Store. I will let my granddaughter add her decorations to the frame. It will look super cute with a bow at the top.

I found Disney's Mickey Mouse on the clearance rack at Michael's for $3. I could not resist. The second photo shows how I label my diamonds. I label the underside. Every company has their specific codes. I purchased the storage box at Hobby Lobby for about $2.00.

I am ready to move on to larger pieces. I have an elephant print that I am excited about and I just ordered a cactus print from Amazon. You will be seeing these shortly.

I am working on adding more content to my blog, more often. I am a beginner at this and I am learning as I go. So, I appreciate your patience.
