Birthday in Sausalito

It's been a minute since I posted, but I have a lot going on. I'm in the process of moving. You'll hear more from me when I settle in and set up my craft room. But for now, let me tell you about my birthday day trip to Sausalito.

My son and his fiance took me to the Ferry Building in SF. It was a great day to enjoy the farmers' market. I picked up some asiago bread to snack on and an Asian pear that was very juicy. From there we jumped on the ferry to Sausalito. The waters were calm and the sky was clear. Many cyclists were on board, headed to Angel Island for a ride.

We walked through the many little shops, picked up some taffy, and headed to

La Copita Restaurant for lunch. If you have never been there and want an enjoyable Mexican meal, this restaurant takes it up a notch. They start you off with jicama and cucumber sticks, chips, and fresh guacamole. I had some carne asada taquitos that were very flavorful. The margaritas were delicious and the staff sang "Happy Birthday", to me. I had a fantastic day!!
